Why not just use a scheduling app, or Facebook's own planner?
Use them if you already have great posts and only need them out on time; they do that job well, and Facebook's and Instagram's own planner is free. A scheduler doesn't decide what to say, write it in your voice, make the product photos and videos, plan around paydays and South African dates, sell from your Link in Bio with Paystack, or tell you which of your Meta and Google ads made money last week and what to change. Socialites does all of that, and you approve everything before it goes out. It also posts on time, so you won't need a separate scheduler.
How do I pay for Socialites?
Your first month is free. You add a card when you start (Paystack takes a small check and refunds it straight away), pick your plan, and nothing is charged until the free period ends. Then your plan is paid by card through Paystack, monthly or yearly (yearly gets one month free). Cancel during the free period and you pay nothing. No card needed. After that, choose a plan on the Plan page and pay by card through Paystack, monthly or yearly (yearly gets one month free). Credit top-ups are one-off payments by card or instant EFT. You can change or cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
I have never run social media or ads. Can I still launch with Socialites?
Yes. Open Launch, say what you are launching and when, and you get a dated roadmap: which accounts to create and how, what to post where and when, the launch posts written and scheduled, a step-by-step guide to your first Facebook, Instagram and Google ads, and a price guide. Your first launch plan is free, and you can launch with no ad budget at all.
Do you run the ads for me?
Socialites plans the budget, writes the ads and gives you the exact set-up steps; you pay Meta or Google directly from your own ad account, so you stay in control of the money. Prefer someone to do it with you? Book a set-up call from inside the app.
Can my whole team use one account?
Yes. Invite people from the Team page with their own login. Admins manage billing and people, editors create, edit and approve, and viewers can see everything and open reports. Starter includes 2 seats, Growth 5, Business 15 and Agency 40.
How do I link my social media accounts?
Open Get set up and click Connect. A secure page opens where you log in to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X or YouTube and approve access. You never give us your passwords, and you can disconnect at any time.
Do comment-to-DM replies run by themselves?
Yes, once they are connected. Socialites keeps your keywords and replies; the DMs are sent through your own Instagram DM automation, a Make.com or ManyChat scenario you connect once in a few minutes (the steps are in the app). After that, anyone who comments your keyword gets the reply by DM, day and night, and you see every comment in Messages. Instagram’s own messaging rules apply.
Can Socialites make videos as well as photos?
Yes. In Studio, upload a product photo (or pick one you made there) and choose a motion such as a 360° orbit, a splash, an unboxing or a lifestyle scene. You get a 5- or 10-second video for Reels and Shorts in a few minutes. A 5-second video uses 35 credits and a 10-second video 70.
What is in the monthly report?
A scorecard comparing the month with the one before (sales, orders, average order, posts, visits, tap-through, sign-ups and engagement), the journey from visit to purchase, content mix and posting rhythm, best sellers, campaign results, everything Studio made, every post published, and three recommendations written for you. Growth and up get it automatically in the first days of each month; Agency reports carry your logo.
What are credits and what do they cost?
Credits pay for what AI makes: a post uses 6, a carousel 12, an article 14, a product photo 12 and a 5-second video 35. Publishing to one platform or all of them, analytics and reports use none. Your plan's monthly credits reset on the 1st. Run out mid-campaign and a top-up finishes the job (from R199 for 100 credits, valid for 36 months; paying plans get up to 35% off top-ups). If that happens most months, the next plan up gives you more for less.
Can ARVIS manage our social media for us?
Soon. Managed Essentials (R4,999 a month per brand: 6 hours of a dedicated marketer and 1,200 credits) and Managed Pro (R9,999: 12 hours and 3,000 credits, with a monthly strategy call) open brand by brand as soon as a dedicated marketer is available for you. Join the list and you hear first; nothing is charged until you say yes.
What is Ads Insights?
Your own performance agency, on Growth and up. Connect your Meta and Google ad accounts (or upload your Ads Manager exports or the spreadsheet you already keep) and every week you get a plain-English report: a verdict on every campaign, what made money, what didn’t and what to do next week. Compare weeks and campaigns, download for Excel or save as PDF, share it on WhatsApp, and approve or decline each suggested change. You stay in charge of your ad accounts and your ad money.
What is the Real clips add-on?
You film moments from your business on your phone and send them to your Socialites WhatsApp number. We turn them into Reels, carousels and vlogs in your brand colours, send you a preview, and post what you approve. Add it to any plan from R499 a month. It's in pilot now: join the early-access list to be one of the first.
With Real clips, do I need to edit anything? What if my footage is bad?
No editing. Send the raw clips as they are and we do the cutting, captions, music and end card. If a clip is too dark or shaky, we tell you what to reshoot in one line.
Who owns the videos made from my clips?
You do. You own your footage and the finished posts; Socialites holds a licence to process and post them for you. Please ask permission before you film customers or staff; you're responsible for their consent.
Will it post anything without my approval?
No. Socialites writes and schedules, but every post waits for approval. Edit anything first, or turn on automatic weekly drafts and approve them in one sitting.
What does it cost to sell from my Link in Bio?
Paystack charges its standard card and EFT fee on each sale. Socialites adds a small commission on Free (5%), Starter (2%), Growth (1%) and Business (0.5%), and none on Agency. The rest goes straight to your bank account.
Is my data safe? What about POPIA?
Sign-up forms ask for marketing consent and record when people agreed. You can export or delete your audience at any time. Payments are handled by Paystack, so card details never touch Socialites. Our privacy policy explains who helps us run the service and your rights.
What does the free month include?
A free month of the Growth plan with 60 credits: about 5 AI product photos, or 10 written posts, or a mix. You can connect your accounts, write, approve and publish, build your Link in Bio and see your first report. AI videos unlock when your paid plan starts (or pay now to start it today). Prefer no card at all? Start on the Free plan instead.
What if an AI picture or post is wrong?
AI can make mistakes, especially with spelling, brand names, logos, hands and small details, so you check and approve everything before it goes out. For the best results, describe the scene rather than the words, and add your name and offers with our free branded templates, where the spelling is always right. Credits are refunded automatically if a job fails to produce anything. We can’t refund credits because a result is not what you pictured, so try one first.
What happens when my free month ends?
If you saved a card, the plan you picked starts that day and is charged to your card each month (or year) until you cancel; we email you 3 days before. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. If you didn’t save a card (or chose Free), you move to the Free plan: 20 credits a month, you post yourself, nothing is deleted and top-up credits you bought stay yours. Cancel a paid plan later and it stops renewing: you keep it to the end of the month you paid for, then move to Free; unused plan credits fall away, bought top-ups stay. The full terms
